Has anyone applied for a DTV visa Muay Thai from London or another embassy that has not been registered by the thai authorities but has a letter from the gym confirming that’s where they’re attending?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the possibility of obtaining a DTV visa for Muay Thai training while using a letter from an unregistered gym in Thailand. Opinions vary; some believe a registered gym is necessary for visa application, while others mention experiences where embassies may not inquire strictly about gym certification. Participants express concerns about implications of training at an unregistered gym and the potential risks involved.
Some embassy not require certificate but Cambodia does for sure as my friend needed the certificate from sports and tourism of Thailand and was asked for this by the additional documents

The part that scares me about this is, once you say you train at a gym, and that gym isn't registered, now the government knows they are not. I don't want to get anyone in trouble.

We have done ( I own a MT gym in chiang mai) about 20 from London. It's definitely not an embassy that asks too many questions. It's possible they may not ask for gym certification but can't guarantee it.
