Can OA Visa Holders Use Non-Approved Insurance for Extensions in Thailand?

Do you offer a variety of policies other than the minimal approved policy which is far over priced & practically worthless which are still accepted by immigration

Hi all I work for Pacific Cross Health Insurance based in bangkok and like Ron Angel said it has to be from an approved Health Insurance provider for the extension. Pm me if you would like a quote.

There is a HUGE difference between BUYING a year-multi-Non-O-A visa from a thai consulate in your country where you CAN show proof of being insured by a company other than the 13 thai approved carriers

AND

applying for a yearly extension of stay at the immigration office on an existing O-A visa where you CANNOT use any insurance companies other than the 13 thai providers. :O

Two completely different scenarios handled completely different

You cannot use companys NOT on the approved list for extensions of an O-A visa, no matter if you could get the certificate or not. The certificate is only of any use to obtain a NEW O-A visa OUTSIDE of Thailand for a company NOT on the approved list.
