TLDR : Answer Summary
For the Married to Thai visa, applicants cannot combine banked funds and monthly income to meet the financial requirements. They must either have 400,000 THB banked, show monthly transfers of 40,000 THB, or receive a salary of 40,000 THB from a legal job in Thailand. Additionally, a certified pension letter from an embassy may suffice if available.

400k or 40k a month. You can use a certified pension letter from your embassy if you can get one, or you have to show twelve consecutive months of international transfers.

nope cannot, you either bank all the 400K baht or you do monthly transfers of 40K baht a month or you legally work here with a 40K baht a month salary OR you have an embassy that still issues the affidavit of income from abroad.
No part banked part monthly option for the marriage visa/extension
