Hey guys, as a fellow digital nomad I have no permanent residency, I've been living in Airbnbs for over a year now, is this going to be a problem when applying for the DTV? Does anyone know what I can use as a proof of address since I have nothing to show?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A digital nomad seeking the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand has concerns about using temporary Airbnb accommodations as proof of address. Responses suggest using hotel bookings with flexible cancellation policies as a workaround, while also noting that proof of address may not strictly need to be permanent. Various users report using address details from hotel reservations or even alternative documents like driver's licenses as acceptable proof.

I have the same problem. They ask me for a "permanent address" when filling out the form. When typing in a hotel address, I am asked for if the hotel is my permanent address. If I click on "No" then I have to type in my permanent address ... How did you guys do that with just a hotel booking? Can you name a hotel address as your "permanent address" then..?

Nice, thank you everyone

I used my Australian drivers license as proof of address.

Some people use hotel bookings when in a 3rd country. Or even entry stamps for example applying in Vietnam

Proof of address is typically just used for where you are in the country you are applying from, to prove you're actually in that country.

From booking.com, you can do a pay at hotel booking. And cancel it later. That's what I did.

go to agoda and book hotel without paying with easy cancelation, once your visa approved cancel the reservation.....
