Hi all. I'm about to submit my application for my 1 year extension based on marriage at Chaengwattana but I'm going the income route this time.
My HR has requested some docs too late and I'm concerned about the timeline here.
Worst case can I use a 60 day visit family extension to buy myself a bit more time to get this done?
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a one-year extension based on marriage, specifically through the income route. They express concern about document delays from HR and inquire if they can apply for a 60-day family visit extension to allow more time for processing. Responses indicate it's possible to apply for an extension up until the current visa expires and that a 60-day family extension can be obtained at the same office.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
You can apply for a new extension right up to the day your current stamp runs out
AND
if you're already on a year extension and just applying for another one you'd get the 60 day visit thai family extension at the same section at Chaengwattana where you'd apply for the year extension (Section L-1)
You say "this time" so that suggests to me that you are switching methods and applying for a new Extension of Stay based on marriage not a Non-O Visa. Is that correct?
