Quick question 

Im canadian

I usually do 30 days on arrival

Fly to penang or kuala lumpur from surat thani or samui.

I get a 60 days tourist Visa and comeback which i then extend. This way im getting 4 months.

Im now on day 28th, if i decide to stay and extend my visa and leave the country after 60 days, will i be able to get a 60 days tourist visa regardless

AND I will go right back to my original answer and tell you no one is gonna tell you with ANY degree of certainty if you will or won't get a tourist visa.

If you're worried about it, go get the tourist visa now when this stamp runs out and then extend that tourist visa by 30 days.

It's a call you have to make, there's not any rule that says if you got an extension on a previous entry you can't get a tourist visa. It's the total time you've spent IN thailand that some consulates look like.

Christ, okay after RE-READING that post it seems you're concerned that IF you get a 30 day extension now you might not get a tourist visa issued at a thai consulate.
