TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of pausing or freezing their Non-B visa while traveling home for a month. The comments clarify that visas cannot be paused or altered, and that the user should obtain a re-entry permit to leave Thailand and return without losing the original term of their visa.
Expiry dates are fixed. You can go out and come back in within the date if you have a reentry permit. You can also extend the expiry date with the appropriate fee. But you cannot alter it just because you are not here.

You can go to Immigration and get a ‘re-entry’ stamp which will allow you to leave Thailand and upon your return your visa can continue to run the original term. NOT freeze/pause the original expiry date.
