Can I correct the start date of my Ed visa extension after it was set to begin on January 31 instead of February 24, 2024?

I have an Ed visa from university which was Supposed to expire on 24 February 2024, I went to immigration to extend 2 days ago which was 20 odd days early, the immigration officer started the new extension from 31 January which cause me to lose a month. In my previous experiences I have always done my extensions early and the immigration officers started the new extensions from the date of previous extensions expiry. Just want to know if maybe the officer made a mistake that day and I should go back to correct?Or should should I accept the month shortage?

SORRY but some Thai Immigration Officers do stamp your extension of stay from the DATE you applied for it.

If this is the same Thai Immigration office that ISSUED the ED VISA STAMP ... and you have had the 90 day extensions issued from the ending date of your recent STAMP date... suggest you return to the Thai Immigration office and ask them IF they will change the date.
