Hello All.... I am considering coming to Thailand for a month on Visa exemption for a month, and then travelling into Vietnam. If I extend the exemption and/or do a border bounce would I still be able to apply for a ME Tourist e-visa at a later point.....? Or would there be restricted due to my having been in Thailand already....? Thanks in advance

Why don't you say what you really want, how long do you plan to stay in Thailand? 4-5 months with some border bounces? If so then get a TR visa before you come and extend it, that's 3 months, then bounce visa exempt and get an extension.

FYI , The METV multiple entry tourist visa is available ONLY in your home country. Its 🚫 NOT available in SE Asia Thai Embassy's or Consulates.

You can enter Thailand Visa EXEMPT and get 30 days stamp plus one 30 day extension of stay at Thai immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

And you can do 2 LAND BORDER BOUNCE entries into Thailand EACH CALENDAR YEAR plus one 30 day extension of stay each time... Giving you 30+30 = 60 days x 2 = 120 added days stay in Thailand.

Again it really depends on just how long you really want to stay in Thailand.

it does make a difference. Your PROOF of your departing flight MUST be from your home country to Thailand. It cannot be from another country.

Well, if I'm applying online to my home country Embassy for an E-visa would it make any difference where the location was....?

Only if you have resident status in Vietnam, otherwise you can not apply there for the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa.

AND the stamps in your passport and boarding passes do show you are not coming from home country, so fooling the system with fake VPN and fake tickets is not the best thing to do.
