We will do our first extension of our visa exemption tomorrow. And we heard that after our first extension, we can do a covid extension before the 24 of May. Is this true? We are in Phuket btw if the information helps.🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a COVID extension after their first visa exemption extension. According to the comments, it is possible to apply for the COVID extension before May 24, but approvals are subject to the immigration officer's discretion. It is also noted that in Phuket, the COVID extension must be processed at the Phuket Town office.
The blue tree management office on the floor below the immigration office at Blue Tree can also assist with photos and photocopies and so on if needed.
Hi Stuart, our extension will expire on the 9 of June, if we apply for a covid extension on the 23 May, will our extension start from 23 May or on the 9 June?
yes. Almost certainly you’ll get an “under consideration” stamp meaning you go back on the day they say (5-30 days time) and get the remaining 60 days stamped. You have to use the same office.
