Hi would appreciate your advice.I am on an Apec card here and permission to stay until May 8th.Uk passport.I know this is still some time away but havent seen anything re Apec.Can I get an extension and if so should I wait until a few days to expiry.Or can i change to a tourist visa pre expiry whilst in Thailand?Also should I request the letter from the British embassy.many thanks.

APEC is a pain to deal with as requirements vary by issuing nation. USA APEC card holders don't get any benefits other than the use of the diplomatic lane at the airports. Other nations like HK get 90 day visa exempt entry.
