Has someone already been granted a DTV in the “music festival” soft power category? If so, as a visitor of a music festival or as a performer?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the eligibility for a Digital Tourism Visa (DTV) in relation to music festivals in Thailand. A user inquires whether anyone has successfully obtained a DTV as a visitor to a music festival or solely as a performer. Comments indicate uncertainty, with one user expressing interest in attending a small festival and noting that while there have been approvals for medical-related appointments, there appear to be no confirmed approvals for festival attendees yet. There is also a clarification that performers would likely require a work permit.
Following. There's a small music festival in Chiang Mai I would like to attend early next year and this could tie up nicely with the DTV. I've seen quite a few medical appointments that have been approved but I don't think I've seen anyone get approved for the visa as a festival attendee yet? I was thinking it could be for performers only but as mentioned that will probably fall under the work permit type visas
It will be interesting to find out what the DTV is for regarding festivals etc Performers have no issue getting WP's and they are here on a weekly basis. When I worked in the corporate world we asked if we needed temporary WP's for speakers are conferences etc and were told no? We thought it was the same as performing 🙂 :-)
