this was a fact finding visit. One of the facts is they don’t want a bank letter. They are not interested. They want proof of income from my embassy or 800k.

that is an option but as I have already been told by the IO they are not interested in bank letters. I can try I suppose.

yes agreed but the issue is the IO said that is no good. She wants either proof of income from my embassy or 800k for two months.

is there an embassy letter I can use to explain they no longer issue affidavits? It is irrelevant any way. I am not old enough for a star pension and I have no job. My visa is a retirement visa. It’s all a bit mad.

no but I had my bank book. I explained I would get a letter. This was a fact finding visit not the application.

yes all FTT. Never a problem with Bangkok Bank. I explained that to them too and I can get a managers letter from the bank. Still no good.
