No problem. It’s the first time I’ve used the online system. Applied yesterday. It was much easier when I could just go to the Cardiff Consulate!

I paid immediately I completed the application. There was a link on the website. As soon as I did the status showed as Processing. If you click on the ‘+’ next to the application number I’m guessing it will show Payment Pending. It won’t move on until you pay.

Officially, yes you should submit a new TM30 each time you re-enter, or even when you spend a night away from the address! Some IOs tell you it’s not required if you go back to the same address but it’s best to check.

The 90-day reports resets when you leave the country so will be due 90 days after this entry.

Sister flew out of T2 last week. She wasn’t allowed to enter the terminal until 3 hours before the flight and there was then an hour queue for check-in. Security took about 20 minutes after that.

A friend flew out of T4 on Sunday and took 90 minutes to get through check-in and security.

Also, the 800k has to be in a Thai bank for the Extension for both the Non O and the Non O-A so I really don’t understand the point of an earlier comment.
David *******
Also remember that if you intend to stay in Thailand long term then the Non O-A requires you to buy insurance from an approved local insurance company for each Extension. You do not require insurance for each Extension if you start with a Non O.

If you want to discuss further then feel free to message me. It’s very difficult discussing in this group for a reason I can’t really go into.

You can do it yourself perfectly easily, but in person at your local Immigration Office. You will need 800k in a Thai bank account.

If you don’t want the money to be in a Thai bank account or don’t want to go to an Office then you can use an agent but you absolutely don’t have to.

Except for very particular circumstances, I would strongly recommend you get the Non O for Retirement from London and not the Non O-A.

Initially 90 days but then you can extend for another 12 months in Thailand, and do that each year.

In theory the answer might be no but in practice there definitely is an age limit. A friend was offered a job in Thailand but the employer (an International School) checked and said they wouldn’t be able to get him a work permit due to his age.
