Leaving Thailand soon, what’s a good wrap up look like?

-Payed all of my bills

-Got international driving permit for my Thai license

-NCB credit report check to make sure things look good

-Need to cancel my Work Permit

-Change tax residence from day one once I arrive at my next location, advantage for me

-Change phone to prepaid

-Cancel insurances

-keep apartment paid for another 3 months before my partner joins me

-Pull two wisdom teeth out as it’s 5x where I’m going

-say goodbyes

A good friend has been working for a large food distribution company in Bangkok. She has now left this company and has been offered a similar job for a different company (in the same industry) in Phuket.

Her contract with the original company states that she cannot work for a competitor for 2 years.

My question is: can anyone offer an opinion whether this is likely to be legally enforceable, or just hot air.

In Oz this would be considered an unreasonable restraint of trade and not legally enforceable, but TIT…

I'm in the middle of getting work Visa there but with the protests growing each day...

How do you guys feel about the civil unrest? My friend that lives in BKK said it will escalate even more. I imagine it will become like Hong Kong protesters... Not going to be fun going there if this spreads to other city/provinces.
