Good evening. I just want to ask questions regarding my visa. So, I got my Non-B visa last August 3 and it will expire on Nov. 2. My school is still processing my teaching license and work permit right now. i only have one week left 'til my visa expires, and they're still processing my teaching license. So, I have few questions po,
*Do I need to exit Thailand and go back as tourist?
*Or is it possible to extend my visa here in local immigration? If yes, how many days extension will they give?
Btw, I had tourist visa. I extended at local immig once, then border run-Cambodia once. Then, I got my Non-B in Laos.
Can anybody tell me why I simply dont get my damn Work Permit after 7 months working in TL with a Non B visa in my passport? It takes for ever! Is my employer hiding something or ducking and diving this document? I need it to apply for my Teaching Lisence in TL. My contract ends end of Febr! Any idea!
I am needing some advise. I have an extension to stay stamp in my passport and I have recently moved provences. I am starting at a new school on Wednesday and I don't have a work permit but teachers license. Will the extension of stay still be valid until I can go for a new non b visa?
Hi, (Sharing on behalf of a friend - any help please)
I was working for this school on non-b visa which expired on May 7th. Then I got it extended until September 30th by showing the work permit. The problem is I no longer work at the same school and I am in a different school, in a different province. My old school, technically an agency hasn't cancelled my WP, and I have explained to my director at the new school that I can't rely on this visa, but all she said was I need not worry as they won't be able to cancel my visa. She has sent my documents to process for a new teaching license which I am still waiting for. Whilst all this, should I go for new non-b or wait for the school to process a new work permit, as I am afraid that the agency may cancel my wp anytime, and I may encur a overstay charge. My director also stated that the agency can't cancel my visa but can cancel the permit. Will this cause me problems, there are so many conflicting things coming my way and its stressing me out.
P.S the work permit booklet is with me which I thought I will go and submit it to the labour office while applying for new one.
I got a Non B visa from India and I came to the kingdom on the 13th of October 2018. In January, together with my employer I got my working permit and a 2 years teaching licence. We went and extended the visa at immigration sakon nakhon. The extension is up till 13th January 2020. I went for my last notification on the 17th of April 2019. On the 25th of April I was arrested and the immigration said my visa is fake. I ask for bail and the court granted it (150,000baht). I paid the bail but immigration has been keeping me in a police cell for 26 days now. My lawyer is confused and said the immigration is using administrative powers to keep me in the police cell. What else can I do in this situation? Presently the court is still waiting for the immigration to submit the case file. If there's anyone who can help me out I will much appreciate. Thanks
Has anyone on here studied the PGCEi from Nottingham University before?
I'm moving schools in August but the course begins in October. As I'm on my final temporary teaching licence I will need to show proof of acceptance in order to obtain another waiver.
Admin in Nottingham have said they only offer a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance) form to international students studying in the U.K.
Although I am able to begin paying my tuition fees now there is nothing to suggest I will be given anything similar to a CAS form. Students are also unable to register for the course until 3 weeks before it starts.
So essentially, what do I need to show in order to be granted another waiver from Krusapa?
