Hello, my family and I have DTV visa and currently living in ChiangMai. But, by the time of extension of 180 day we are going to be in Koh Samui (smoky season in ChiangMai), Does somebody know or have experience with the immigration office in Koh Samui? Looks like it is a regular office but we can not afford to go Bangkok in case Koh Samui immigration office does not provide extension for DTV visa. I just want to double check to make some arrangements. Thanks you very much I really appreciate you answers.

Hey guys.

This is my report for the Covid 19 extension in the Immigration Office Koh Samui.

Maybe this information will help someone.

I was at the Immigration Office on Wednesday March 17th.

First my Travel History:

Arrived with a TR VISA on December 20, 2020 (COE, ASQ)

On January 22nd, I already applied for my first extension of 30 days, also in Koh Samui (a report from me is also here)

So a total of 90 days.

Now I have received another 60 days through the Covid 19 extension and it has never been so easy.

What did I need for that:

1 Passport Photo

1 copy of my passport

1 copy of my Visa

1 Copy of my last stamp

1 copy of my TM6

TM.7

STM.2

1900 Thai Baht in cash.

That's all.

Nothing from my landlord.

Also no paper from the embassy.

Cheers and good luck.

Thank you for the add. I have a question about tourist visa extension. I have a NZ passport and obtained a 30 day tourist visa at Padang Besar border(by train). Am I able to extend this without leaving the country? If so, for how long? I am staying on Koh Phangan and i see there is an immigration office on Koh samui. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
