Hi, hoping someone can help me as there's too many posts to navigate here 😓. As a U.S. citizen currently in Thailand, I'm wondering where the best embassy to apply for the DTV visa would be?

Also, for the financial requirements, I've read a lot different answers on this but will the embassies require 6 months of bank statements or just the latest? My plan was to transfer the 500k baht to my bank account just to apply for this visa but I'm afraid this will not suffice?

Any guidance is much appreciated! 🙏🙏🙏

Hello everyone,

I am planning to apply for the DTV visa early next year.

On the Thai e-visa website, it asked me which embassy I wish to apply to.

Does it mean that I have to be in person near this embassy?

Thank you.

Can you apply from any consulate world wide instead of your home countries ? NZ charges $2000 which is ridiculous , Australia is $600 , the currencies are almost the same value versus one another.

Question about the recent DTV...can you ask it anywhere outside Thailand or only where you have residency?

Hello! I will soon have to do my 90 days report again. I read that it is possible to do it at Chamchuri Square. However, I read on this page that the service is not available for those who got their VISA at Chaengwattana.

Do you confirm this information or do I have a chance to do my report at a shopping mall on Rama 4 instead of in the far-north of Bangkok? :D Thank you and have a good day.

Unfortunately my husbands company HR took too long for his work permit so myself and our 2 year old daughtet now will have to leave and get another Non Immigrant O Dependant Visa.

Where would be the easiest / hassle free place to go to with a toddler.

Flying out.

Laos? Hong Kong? Singapore?
