How do I obtain a Marriage Visa in Thailand based on marriage to a Thai citizen?

Good morning~ I've been reading many posts on the group and searching online but I just want to make sure I got it right.

To obtain a "Marriage Visa", I should first get a "Non-Immigrant Visa" which could be a "Non-Immigrant O based on marriage" and after getting that I can convert it to "Marriage Visa" which will allow me to stay in Thailand for a whole 1 year (renewable) without going out of the country.

Is this right?

(I'm on a 90 days visa exemption right now.)
