Hi, I'm just came back in from my Non O for another 90 days - wants to know if I were to go report my address on my own, will I get into trouble coz the apartment owner has never help to report us till now ? since I went out of Thailand today & came back in will it count as a fresh start or previous entry will be taken into account ? thank you

I didn't know you were in Bangkok so FORGET anything I said about the TM.30 form. It is NOT a requirement at that immigration office.

Unfortunately because you are on a multi-entry Non-O and NOT an extension of stay you couldn't get a residence permit from the Bangkok immigration office anyway. They ONLY issue them to people on extensions of stays that require 90 day reporting.

You will have no issue getting a 60 day extension based on visiting family at Chaengwattana without a TM.30 form. They won't care at all

yes till 6 august. after that jus before expiring i go to extend at immigration get 60 days first right ? so it is a bit confusing for me

, you just got almost 15 months out of the visa right now with this last 90 day stamp (which should have you stamped in until august), almost 90 days AFTER the visa itself expires ;)

then the 60 day visit family extension takes you to almost 17 months in total.

oh ok. just worried that immigration officer will have issues with me. btw i did my last trip for non o according to the visa agent today for 90 days. the non o visa was issued in savannakhet on 17 may 2017 ( enter before 16 may 2018 ) - so the next time i can renew it at changwattana for 60 days at 1900 baht right ? but i am confused on how it can be stretch till 17 months ? thanks

NOT in Bangkok, they don't care about the TM.30. It's the immigration offices in other provinces that are hard core about the form.

 you can't use a police station IF you're in Bangkok and in fact IF you're in Bangkok you don't even need to file a TM.30 form because Bangkok Immigrations doesn't care if you or you land lord ever file one.

Thanks, I suspect I’ll get it on Friday. I’ll keep it if I do. Not sure I want to rush back to immigration every time I re-enter the country though.

Today I had to do the tm30 myself as a tenant, I paid the landlord fine. When I leave the country and come back (to the same apartment) do I need to do the tm30 again the day I arrive?

I have the same problem with my landlord. I threatened to turn her into the tax people along with her bank account number. (total bluff but hey it worked). I pointed out that if she went in there would be fewer issues than if I went in. Also either way she was paying the 1600 as I would deduct it.

 I went through the agent so they are doing it for me, and I go back Friday to get my residency cert.

I just won’t do another tm30, the landlord is supposed to do it anyway

 no totally different thing. Are you sure you didnt get a receipt from when you reported and paid the late fee? Looks like the torn bottom of a 8×10 piece of paper. Check your passport. Lots of times they just staple it in. If they handed it to you and you lost it....well sorry to say you are screwed. You will have to go over the whole thing. It MAY be with your application for residence certificate.

 I will need 30 day extensions.. but I guess they don’t check for those.. I guess no more motorbike purchasing for awhile

 you have to have a thai go in, sign up, and then get a log in etc to use the online system. While legally you're required to do it. Unless you're going to go to the immigration office for something I would just "forget" to do it.

 is correct. From what I've seen you just go in and give them your old TM.30 receipt and they update their info with your new TM.6 departure card and stamp the old receipt with the new date

But you should have gotten a piece of paper in your passport. That can be reused as the TM 30 multiple times as long as you are at the same address.

Normally they don't ask what you did in the past. You arrived today and report that you stay at this address with the TM30 form.
