I am currently in Thailand and am going to Malaysia for a few days for a boarder run and holiday for a few days. Just wanting to know if I go and come back to Thailand, will I need to pay for the second stamp for 30 more days or they will just stamp and that’s fine for another 30 days?

If you’re from a visa exempt country (which it sounds like) you don’t pay for entry in to Thailand with a 30 day stamp. You can opt to extend that once in country for a further 30 days for 1,900 baht.

from a visa exempt country you don’t pay on re-entry to Thailand. You get another 30 day stamp.
