Does anybody know if I might face problems leaving Thailand again after being there for 2 days on DTV?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa (Digital Nomad Visa) allows for multiple entries and permits a stay of up to 180 days per entry. Exiting Thailand shortly after entering (e.g., 2 days later) should not pose any problems, as immigration primarily concerns the duration of stay rather than frequency of exits and entries. It is mentioned that the counting towards the next entry starts afresh after a 6-month period.

Quite the opposite. The less time you spend in Thailand per entry, even on a DTV, the better! At least as far as immigration is concerned.

Not at all. It will start to count again for 6 months when you re- enter thailand .

What kind of problems do you imagine you might have leaving the country?

... It was more of an issue about entering again afterwards since I got 'interviewed' pretty intensely last time with several stamps in my passport from the same year... Tourism, extension, re-entrance...

Anonymous participant how is that a problem? That’s immigration doing their job

Anonymous participant So, you asked about issues leaving the country but what you're actually concerned about is issues entering the country. Well, no one can really answer that for you. If you've already had issues entering the country that is quite likely to continue as you will still be you, and your immigration history is what it is.

Even if you were told on here that you won't have issues, and then you do, it won't really help to stand there and say 'but some fella on Facebook said it would be ok'.

No, of course not. You'll either always be interviewed, based on your past history and have to put up with it or be even more likely to be interviewed should you spend as little time as possible outside of the country.

Nope, I went to Taipei on a Friday afternoon and returned Saturday morning a week after entering on DTV and got a new stamp for 6 months

The DTV is a 5 year visa that allows you multiple entries for the duration of that visa. On each entry you’ll get a stamp for 180 days. Whether you use 1 of those days or 180 of those is irrelevant.

Each time you enter you’ll be allowed to stay for up to 180 days. The keywords there are “up to”.
