Koh Pha Ngan immigration is not adding the extension days on the date where the visa ends, they “steal” days, means when you come seven days before the visa ends, they “reduce” the extension seven days.
How can that be?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users are confused about the discrepancy in extension days when applying for a visa extension close to the expiration date in Koh Pha Ngan. It appears that immigration may reduce the number of extension days granted if the application is made too close to the visa's end date, potentially leaving individuals with fewer days than expected. Comments highlight the importance of the type of extension being applied for and suggest that sometimes days are lost when transitioning between different types of visas.
SOMETIMES when you go from say an extension based on tourism, to one based on say covid, they start it the same day you apply (meaning you DO lose the days you have left) BUT when they give you an extension for the same reason they should add it to your current expiration (tourist/tourist, covid/covid, etc)
