When does the 90-day reporting period start for my marriage-based visa extension application in Thailand?

Quick silly question! I applied for a 1 year visa extension based on marriage in mid-January this year (almost 90 days ago). 

Do I report 90 days starting from:

(a) the date of applying for the 1 year extension? (mid-Jan)

(b) from the date the extension is approved? or (mid-Feb)

(c) the date I first came to Thailand? (October 2019, more than 90 days ago)

Sorry for the silly question, it's my first time reporting 90 days so I don't want to get it wrong!

if your 90-day report did not get actualized & re-arranged on the day when you applied - check the date written onto the slip of paper inside your passport - then your 90 days started on the day of your most recent entry into Thailand

I did the same at a similar time.

When I returned after the under consideration 30 days period to immigration , they gave me my passport back with a piece if paper with a date for next report.

They should have given you the paper with date.

Maybe a phone call to local immigration is needed?

There should be the small paper attached in your passport stating appointment date for the next 90 days report. But usually it's from the first day of applying regardless your visa status whether it's approved or not ...based on my experience in KK Immigration

I notified of my address by mail within 48 hours of when I first arrived (back in October 2019) and I got back a "Receipt of Notification" but it makes no mention of my next appointment, back then I was on a single 90 day non-o visa with no extension

Aside from that I don't have any paper, I've never needed to do a 90 day report before though, still a bit confused on the dates.
