Admin and 2 others asked me to report back on this. My 12 month multi entry based on marriage ended early March so I got 60 days ext. which ended May 9th. My 400,000 baht in Thai Bank hadn't seasoned until May 30th. So I went today with all documents and got the 12 month marriage ext. which is of course under review for 1 month. So I got this nearly 4 week's after my extension had expired.
Only downside when I got my 1900 baht out to pay they said it's 2500, because I was a month late. Was going to say they aren't allowed to fine me because of amnesty but decided not to argue over 600 baht, just pleased to get visa. !
This was Udon immigration.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully obtained a 12-month extension of stay based on marriage after their previous visa expired, despite being charged a late fee. They also clarified the distinction between a visa and an extension of stay and noted the importance of obtaining a reentry permit when leaving the country.
Don't forget at that price it isn't a multiple entry, so if you leave the country remember to get a reentry permit. Congratulations on getting the extension relatively hassle free.

Thanks for the update. However, you didn't get a visa, you got an extension of stay (which is what you wanted).
