I am in the final month of the Thai marriage visa process after a successful visit to Chaeng Wattana last week for my 1 year extension. I am expecting a visit from them this month and will need to make another trip to immigration at the end of September. We're nearly there!

I just wanted to say thank heavens this group exists. If I had relied on the immigration website, I'd have gotten a divorce! 😂 Seriously to all those who take time out of their days to give bloody good advice, it really makes a difference.

Good Luck, remember they don't always visit you during that 30 day under consideration period in Bangkok so don't freak out if they don't.

Just go on the date your "under consideration" stamp says to return on.

Report back after you get your visa and let us know if the police visited. There are lots of conflicting stories about them visiting or not, so it's always good to hear concrete details. Good luck!
