Hello. I am am expat going to the UK for a visit this month. On theThai Pass application in the purpose for arrival I have checked "returning to Thailand".Apparently, according to the AQ hotel, the application will not receive this and continues to tejrctcmy application. They have advised me to change my purpose to "travel" and give a random date for departure.
My concern is that they will either ask to see my return ticket and or raise questions of dishonesty because I do have a visa. For my "random" date of departure I will put my visa expiration date which is in June.
Has anyone one had similar issues and if so how did this work out?

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat having issues with the Thai Pass application is seeking advice on how to properly indicate the purpose of arrival, as checking 'returning to Thailand' results in rejection. Suggestions include changing the purpose to 'travel' and entering a random departure date. Other comments reveal that individuals have faced similar situations, often without being asked for a return ticket. The expat is particularly concerned about the implications of dishonesty and is looking for experiences from others who have navigated this process.

As it turns out, no matter what I check for purpose of arrival I am rejected once I enter "check my booking " . The message states that my booking is invalid. The hotel has sent me the proper paperwork and are aware of my issue. They have viewed via screen shots my input and have found no mistakes. They recommend me using a service to .process.
I have reapplied numerous times. I have had others check my info. including the hotel. I can't put my insurance in because I cannot get passed "check my booking" I can put my address information in but cannot go beyond that page. I am doing the 5 day alternative quarantine so I do not need to upload a vaccination certificate. My hotel was book through agoda.

'Returning to Thailand' is for Thai citizens

I used the "Returning to Thailand" for my application, no issues.
I already have a retirement visa. The application wants a departure date but if you click "returning to Thailand" for your purpose of arrival it does not provide a box for a departure date. I can only go as far as entering my arrival day and a get an error message.

I checked "other" assuming return to Thailand was for Thais. I haven't been approved yet, but it accepted my submittal.

The old COE process had that but this one did not. We'll see how it goes :)
