I hope someone can advise me on this. I didn't realise that the day of arrival is classed as day 1. I had calculated day 30 to be on the 23 February and my flight is booked for then, but the stamp says exit by 22nd. Will I just have to pay a fine at immigration or is it more serious than that? Thanks for any information and advice you offer me

You're not the first one to make that error. As Thai Immigration counts the day you arrive into Thailand as DAY #1

Don't worry...as long as you depart Thailand as booked, you will be on overstay one day, but Thai Immigration Officers will waive the usual 500 Thai baht fine as you pass thru Immigration at the airport.
