Hi all, some background for my situation. I am a small business owner that was on my 2nd year extension visa. I went to Germany in April this year for work and didn’t realize my extension didn’t include a a re-entry permit and the visa is now void

I was on some tourist visa from then until August 2019 when I went back to Singapore (my home country) to get new Non-B immigration visa. I just got rejected for extension of stay because my work permit expired on the 20th Nov 2019. The immigration officer requested for additional documents and changes (more than once) and told me she will give me up till today to provide the documents for my 1 year extension. Today she said she didn’t notice my work permit expired and now I have a stamp of 7 days to leave Thailand

Now.. I can go back to Singapore and apply for a new Non B immigration visa but I am thinking g to go to Laos.. as I never been there and I would like to spend a few days there instead of Singapore

Can anyone advice my on the process and how do I overcome the WP3 form problem?

One advantage about applying in Singapore is;

because they have the online application system you'll know if you're approved or not BEFORE you wing your way there to turn in your paperwork..

I would say get your VISA situation sorted out then go on vacation where ever you want to AFTER that. It appears to me that your long term stay here would be a little higher priority than going to see Lao because you have never been there. BUT that's just my perspective

If you like to work inside Thailand there is not way to overcome the documents. You need to apply for a new Work Permit as soon as possible, get the WP3 form and get a new Non Immigrant B visa. If you can not do this in the next 7 days, make sure your staff can handle the documents while you wait outside the country

Not by Thai law, sorry I can not advice any further. You know how you set up your company, visit that lawyer and see if he can help you out again.

No, you do not need a power of attorney as your business partners can apply for your work permit

WP3 form only works when I am not in Thailand? And I cannot give power of attorney with business visa and work permit? Seems like I am stuck in a loop

IN Lao you either have a valid work permit OR you have the receipt that you applied for a work permit OR you don't get the visa.
