I need some advice from anyone who has recently applied for an E-visa from the London Embassy in the UK for a single entry Non O for the purpose of retirement. I have previously been in Thailand for 9 years on a PE visa and am now eligible for a retirement visa which why I am in the UK now.
I am stumped on the following three questions. I am currently in the UK for the purpose of getting this visa and only happened to prove an address by updating my UK driving license to my mum's address.
1) I have Thai insurance for some years and have a 10 year insurance certificate so uploaded that but it makes no mention of Covid but the company assured me I am covered
2) Financial evidence. I have lived in Thailand 9 years this year and back then moved all our money over to Thailand years ago. Will me showing my Thai account suffice in baht as I have more than enough in it to cover the amount they require as I have little money in the UK.
3) What's the declaration?
Thank you and appreciate anyone taking the time to help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on applying for a Non-O retirement E-visa from the London Embassy. They have questions regarding Thai health insurance coverage regarding Covid, the sufficiency of financial evidence presented in a Thai bank account, and the necessary declaration for the application process.

have they always asked for funds to apply for a Non O or is it new for the evisa. I have lived in Thailand coming up to 9 years and only been back in the UK two weeks and am sure friends on the Non O said they were never asked to show proof of money. I have had to quickly open a new UK bank account as we moved all our money to Thailand years ago.
I would just send with what you have. When I applied in late feb i didn't attach insurance - they emailed to request. For my 3 month Non O they acceptes free insurance I get with my Revolute card - Thai pass also accepted it.
they were very quick - a couple of days. Also were quick processing queries - fir example when I attached screenshot of online banking but they wanted STATEMENTS!
You will get a couple of opportunities to get things right and it depends on who is processing!
If you got any written email or confirmation re insurance covering covid, I would attach that.
