TLDR : Answer Summary
The participant has been living in Bangkok for nearly three years with a spouse, holding a Non-O visa. This visa does not allow the holder to obtain a work permit. To work legally, they would need to find employment and then apply for a Non-B visa from outside Thailand. Options discussed include teaching English, which is possible if one has at least a bachelor's degree. It's noted that non-native speakers may need to take the TOEIC test to secure a teaching position, but some local schools may have varying requirements.

You DO NOT have a Non-B visa :/ Nor do you have an extension on a NON-B visa :/
You have a Non-O <- (the O means other) extension of stay because you are married to a foreigner who legally works here with the correct visa and a work permit.
You CANNOT get a work permit on that extension,
You would need to go out of the country and get the correct visa; A Non-B visa to work.
yep, that's one of the restrictions on that visa/extension type. It is based on marriage to a foreigner who legally works here and thus the holder of it cannot legally get a work permit.
You have to go out of the country and get a Non-B visa based on employment.
That is very true, but seeing as her husband is in Bangkok, Isaan might not be very practical ;-) ....did you take any TOEIC test Max?

If you have at least bachelor degrees in any field, it should be not difficult. Just apply for job you can find on Facebook or local and see what happens. School should provide all documents you need for working permit
