TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your tourist visa in Bangkok, go to Changwattana, Counter J, where you can get a 30-day extension. You will need your passport, copies of your data page, recent visa, most recent stamp, departure card, possibly a TM30 form, the designated forms from immigration, one passport-sized photo, and a fee of 1,900 THB. The extension will be issued on the spot.

Thank you! do you know if it's possible to book an appointment in advance? I did so for the STV earlier in the year, but the link seems to have expired!
