I was att CW 10:00 Am today (14/Dec), got some new form to fill and got queue Nr , check all the copies, went downstairs to get bank statement and had coffee... 11:40 met the immigration officer who just checked the copies (not comparing with original!)...all in all I was out 11:55 with 30 days consideration stamp.

Not to mention, that their imagination is endless and they can easily point which documents you should have. If you rent a condo then you should have contract, owner's ID copy, government proof that he/she is the owner of the condo, your TM.30 copy and printed map or the area with street name visible (some officers request hand-drawn map, but I always have printed from Google Maps)

Yes, no comparing with originals also surprised me recently. And the fact, that they have copying machines and do copies by themselves if 1-2 pages only are needed (happened in TM.30 section and L section).
That's OK. Officer checked your last year application then just proceed with copies. The longer story you have in IMM database, the easier process will be.
Well, I did it for 5th time. 1st of course was crazy, but 2nd till 4th I expected to be waaay easier than it was. So, two weeks ago I was really surprised. However, after 5 years I should be able to do it online 🤣🤣
