Did anyone undergo the procedures of obtaining citizenship, specifically after marriage visa? How long did you wait before applying? Was the procedure hard?
Looking forward to hear from people who have done it before ππΌ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks insights from individuals who have obtained Thai citizenship after being on a marriage visa. Respondents suggest joining Facebook groups dedicated to citizenship for better advice, mention that it may take over three years to obtain citizenship, and emphasize that applicants must have been working and paying taxes in Thailand for at least three years with a minimum monthly income of 40,000 baht to be eligible.
Being married to a Thai you must work making at least bt40,000 a month for at least three years, and filing and paying your Thai income taxes each year, with no breaks. If you do not meet this requirement, everything else is pointless.
thanks! I am still in the process of getting married and will register to our company that we have together so that I have an income here and pay taxes too. ππΌ

There are 2+ Facebook groups dedicated solely to this topic. You're likely to get much better information from those groups. This group doesn't really handle that as those who have PR or citizenship no longer have any concern with visas so wouldn't have an interest in being here.
