What is the duration of stay allowed on a 3-month tourist visa for Thailand?

Josan Selwyn you were stamped in on TR 60 <- 60 DAY tourist visa, you entered the country on the 27th of June and you were stamped in until the 25th of August. You stamped out of the country on the 3rd of September meaning you were on 8 day overstay the day you stamped out IF you didn't get the 30 day extension at the immigration office for 1900 baht.

That's strange they didn't charge you for the overstay or the 4000baht fine.

I cannot read anything, did u enter Thailand june 27?

And if so did u happen to leave Thailand one time and come back by land or air somewhere in july or august?

Show a pic of ur tourist visa (mask ur passport number), need to see when they void ur visa.

You did not stay 67 days in Thailand without paying a overstay, it's not possible without an extension on ur tourist visa. Ur story is a bit unclear.

When you get into Thailand you will get a stamp that allows you to stay 60 days. If you want to stay another week you visit an Immigration Office in your area and apply for an Extension of Stay, you will get 30 days extra. They not come to you to ask, if you stay 2 months and 1 week and you did not apply for this Extension of Stay, the Immigration Officer at the checkpoint where you leave will notice that you overstayed your visa and you will get fined 500 Thb a day.

You get stamped in for 60 days, IF you want to stay longer you get a 30 day extension and then you have to leave the country to get another visa.

beacause the visa itself is valid for 90 days, it becomes invalid/used the day you enter the country. It's then that you'll recieve an admitted to stay stamp for 60 days.

the visa is valid for 90 days from it's date of issue, meaning it must be used within those 90 days, you will however only be stamped into the country for 60 days when you do enter.

Renat Ibragimov sorry for confusion mate i typed in the wrong name. Unless I am wrong a tourist visa is valid for 60 days, optional extension for another 30 days. So I am not sure why the op thinks it is valid for 90 days. I guess he means the visa validity.... its just to confusing for some haha

You get stamped in on arrival for 60 days, you can then extend at Immigration for 30 more days for Bt. 1,900....if you wish to remain any longer, you need to apply for another visa in a neighboring country....

Its valid for 90 days which means you get 90 days in which to use it. When you do use it you get stamped in for 60 days.
