Who's still waiting for a Thai Airways refund or travel voucher from March 2020??
Did you book through a travel agent, if so where are you with your refund/travel voucher now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users are still waiting for refunds or travel vouchers from Thai Airways due to flight cancellations that began in March 2020. Experiences vary greatly; some have successfully utilized travel vouchers, while others face ongoing delays. A few have turned to banks for refunds, successfully recovering their money, while others find themselves caught between the airline and travel agents, resulting in further complications.
Thai airlines cancelled my flight in April 2020, I booked with Travelbag in UK, Thai airlines say I have to deal with the agent, and the agent says I have to deal with the airline. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do now?
this is the exact same issue I have. Trying to get the travel voucher isn't proving to be so straightforward. I'm now upping the anti and increasing my email and call frequently each day until I get the voucher!

I got my refund going through my Bank. Took 30 days but got it back. Thai systems work so much with paper they do not bother to check anything digital , Thai Airways never returned and calls from the Bank so after 30 days i was automatically refunded

I was at Suvarnaboomi so i went to the Thai Airways office. My original ticket was purchased through Expedia but they were pretty useless. It dragged on for months and eventually my ticket from Bkk to Heathrow had expired. Thai Airways booked my renewed flight there and then and it cost me 1900 baht

I received my voucher code back in April of 2020. I kept this number and was able to rebook my flight with the voucher for this past January.
If you used an agent can use voucher anytime up to 2 years or ask agent to refund you. If it's over 2 years can claim from airline.

Yes I have similar issue. I have a voucher my agent sorted for me. Which I have till march to use. They is no chance I can use it. So I can either cancel through agent for a fee. Or wait till after march and claim refund from airline.
interesting I was under the understanding that the Thai travel vouchers last until December 2022 for rebooking? I'd be interested to know if you can indeed get a refund from Thai Airways directly - my communications with them so far pass me back to the travel agent and can't seem to offer me much help as I didn't purchase the ticket through them
thanks Ross, this March it would have been 2 years. Driving me crazy tbh as I'm being told by Thai Airways that they can't issue me with the travek voucher and it needs to be done via the travel agent. The travel agent however says that my ticket has now been purged and I can online deal with the Airline directly

I booked in September 2021 still waiting for a refund. I shall wait a little longer as they did say it could take up to 180 days.
