Technical question. Rumor has it that Thailand has a lower threshold for PCR tests that might catch people recently recovered

I’d like to put fact to this rumor. Does anyone know what CT threshold they use?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the CT threshold used in PCR tests in Thailand, particularly in relation to individuals who have recently recovered from COVID-19. Participants mention varying CT values from different testing experiences, with some reporting thresholds of 40 or 26. There is a concern about whether Thailand's testing policies might catch recently recovered individuals, with suggestions of blood antibody tests as an alternative for those with recovery certificates.

I was tested positive after been recovered on December. My results was 26 ct

After talk with the doctor and showed my recovery certificate they gave me the option of doing a blood test to detect antibodies.

Update: I received just now my second PCR results (6 days after my arrival) and it seems for the cutoff for the second is 37 ct

Here’s a study that was conducted in Thailand. They used a 40 ct threshold so it’s probably that
