TLDR : Answer Summary
The best visa option for a person married to a Thai woman who travels frequently is the 90-days single entry Non-Immigrant O visa, transitioning to a 1-year extension of stay based on marriage. Multi-entry visas have been discontinued since October 30, 2023. To qualify for the visa, you must have a minimum of 400,000 THB in a bank account in your name for at least two months. Recommendations include opening a Thai bank account immediately after entering Thailand and preparing to meet Immigration requirements for the extension.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.

There is no more multi entry 365 days Non-Imm-O marriage (family) visa since October 30th, 2023. Savannakhet was the last consulate to issue it and they have discontinued when they went to the e-visa system in January. You need to apply in the e-visa system of the Thai embassy London, for the 90-days single entry Non-Imm-O family visa first, with a minimum of 400,000 THB or equivalent in GBP on any bank account that is in your sole name. After entering Thailand, immediately open a Thai bank account and transfer the money to it. Visit Immigration and ask for the handout list of requirements, so you can get your ducks in a row for the application to the "1-year extended stay permit". As soon as the money has "seasoned" for two months, you can apply for the "1-year Extension of the Stay Permit based on being married to a Thai wife" on Immigration. The "extension" will first be issued for 4 weeks "under consideration". Within this period, Immigration will visit your at home. After the 4 weeks period, you visit Immigration and pick up the stamp. Watch your wording: An "Extension of Stay" is NOT a visa, it just is an "extended stay permit". There is NOTHING SUCH as a "1-year marriage visa"
your right is not a visa, is just an extension of stay for 1year you renew it in the 11 month and keep extending it as I did still the 10years passport run out of time (18 months minimum before expiry) so this a new passport

Yes a married visa is best 400,000 buats for three months to be on saveside before you apply for the visa (o-visa first, thai bank account, bangkok bank is easier some immigration control centre ask for 3months and some ask for 2months money in account before you apply, all depends on how much money you have as to which visa to get ,"so as the "saying gos do not spend money you can't afford to lose "regard it as a gift, if you get it back it's a bonus, hope you understand the meaning pal
So mine was done in three weeks getting it recognised at the departure of internal affairs and stamp, then to amper local office to be married ,all in three weeks o visa is mandatory as far as I know
I am VERY VER sorry for the confusion. I confused this thread with another still standing thread, where the guy has a half Thai child out of wedlock and was asking with which visa type to visit and get married ππππ sorry I am so sorry
no, there is no such visa option. There only is a "visit family" visa option which needs documentation from a Thai entity that you have relatives in Thailand
you need to be divorced for 310days to remarry, just a point??,

I am coming to Thailand again in April for 3 weeks. Then I will come again in June to live. I will get married in Thailand in December I am 57 what visa is best do you think please?π
you can get maried on any visa type. After your marriage is recognized inside Thailand and in your home country, you can apply in the e-visa system of your home country for the 90-days Non-Imm-O family visa and change this inside Thailand into a "1-year extension of stay permit" (which some people wrongly call "marriage visa")
none of them is issuing any multiple entry Non-Imm-O visaclass! I don't need to look, I KNOW IT. . . . . . The only visa classes that got a multi re-entry permit included are the Non-Imm-O/A visa, the DTV, the LTR and the O/X
I haven't seen multi entry non O at any embassy recently. Last one I saw was at Savanakhet consulate last year. And they have stopped offering the multi entry.
he is misinformed and you were right. And he is ignoring because he is too lazy to look for himself . . . There are no more Non-Imm-O family or retirement visa issued any more by Thai embassies and consulates. Only the 90-days single entry Non-O type is still available

Marrage visa with multi entry I'm just lookjng at same
since October 2023, there is no more "1-year marriage visa" with multi re-entry included. Savannakhet Consulate was the last one to issued it and they discontinued by January this year. Only 90-days single entry visa get issued. You can then apply for the "1-year extension of the stax permit" on Immigration, and once issued, buy a multi re-entry permit on it for 3800.- THB
