Hi. In the next few weeks my DTV is reaching 180 days. Since I don't want to go through IO I either plan a flight out or using a border run agency. What is the better/safer option to do it? I didn't find any information on DTV land border bounces so far.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is approaching the 180-day limit on their DTV visa and is considering options to exit Thailand without re-entering through immigration offices (IO). They ask for advice on whether to take a flight out or use a border run agency, noting a lack of information on DTV land border bounces. Community responses suggest that using a valid multiple entry DTV visa should not pose issues re-entering Thailand, and advise planning ahead for a flight or a brief getaway.
Although theoretically possible to extend as some have already it’s almost certainly easier to bounce out and back for another 180 day stamp.
1,900 baht to extend will probably be cheaper than a bounce for many, but providing the copious amounts of paperwork and proof of study/earnings will make it seem the easier option in the long run.
