Hello. I'm curious if anybody else received this kind of stamp, that says "application is under consideration"? I never went back to the office because I thought I'm covered by the amnesty (my previous stamp was expiring on April 5th). But now I start wondering if I may get in trouble because of that, and forced to pay the penalty or something...

EVERYONE received that stamp when using the embassy letter to get an "unable to travel due to covid-19" extension. It was a two part process, you did part one, now go back and get part two finished.

Can we leave this open to hear, which immigration office said don't come in and which says sure finish with 2nd stamp?

As few people got from other islands the stamp even from temporary immigration office locations etc...

But I would question how border control would know about that if few office says no need to get secound.

I mean in same cases doesnot make sense even without extension request the amnesty already applied...

the people down on the "islands of misfit toys" :O (Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, etc) had a special deal where they didn't have to go and get the second stamp. Although many of them did go "close the loop" anyway..

That was NOT something other offices were extending to people who used the embassy letter to get emergency extensions.

I can see by the O/P's stamp they got it in Bangkok, so I suggest they go back to the immigration office and check.

There are conflicting stories about what (if anything) will happen if they don't get the second stamp.

you were supposed to go back on that date <- the 4th of May and get the rest of the extension inked into your passport

Go to the immigration office and they will give you the final stamp that "closes the loop"
