Upon entering Thailand a couple days ago, I intended to get a 30 day visa exemption stamp, however when talking with the immigration officer at the airport I think he said something about my last education visa going through July of this year. I just noticed the stamp I have and it doesnโt seem to have anything about 30 days on it.
Iโm kind of confused about what it means.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The stamp you received upon re-entering Thailand reflects a valid extension from a previous education visa, which expires on July 22, 2022. Since you had a single re-entry permit, the immigration officer stamped you based on that extension rather than granting a typical 30-day visa exemption. It's important to note that you should have canceled your extension with the immigration office before leaving Thailand to avoid complications, but currently, you are allowed to stay until the expiration date.
s well when you stopped studying you were supposed to take the paper from the school to the immigration office and cancel your extension BEFORE you left. ๐ฎ
Just leaving and stamping out doesn't cancel your extension, ๐
When you came back in because you hadn't cancelled it before you left AND because you had a valid single re-entry permit in your passport you were stamped back in on the still valid extension.
so right now because of that you're good to stay until 22 July.
So you left and came back and still good til 22-July? You must be on that new "distance-learning" education program. ๐

there is no way to go get that stamp corrected, you were stamped in totally correct according to the valid extension AND the re-entry permit in your passport.
Just leave on or before July 22 and you'll be ok.

Seems like you got more than you bargained for. Wish they'd done that in my passport.

I'm no expert. Listen to people like Tod, but it seems like you're good.

this is the reason you were stamped in until 22 July

That's because you had some type of extension issued back on 5 July 2021 which was good until 22 July 2022 AND you had a valid single re-entry permit so you were stamped in until that extension expired (22 July 2022)

you have an 'extension of stay permitted until" stamp that's dated 22 July 2022 on another page of your passport for sure ๐
