Any US / UK / Australian citizens with embassy letter tried for the 30 day extension at Samut Prakan Immigration yet? Seen reports here for Chaengwattana but none for S.P. Would like to know what all requested docs are. Thanks all

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a 30-day visa extension at Samut Prakan Immigration for US, UK, or Australian citizens requires specific documentation. Essential documents include your passport, copies of the passport's front page and the visa/entry stamp page, a copy of your TM6 (arrival card), a filled TM7 application form, two passport photos, a request letter from your home country's embassy, and a 1,900 Thai baht fee. Experiences of others indicate that responses to the embassy letter may vary, and applicants should be prepared for the possibility of requests being denied.
Please do! After you do, can you make a new post? In your post, include:
-The immigration office you used
- Your nationality
- A copy of the stamp the stamp they put into your passport (if successful)
- A reason why it was rejected (if unsuccessful)
- What paperwork was required to submit

OK got it. However, had a Thai friend call the office just before closing, and they claimed they knew nothing about embassy letters at the moment 🤷🏻♂️ Figure it’s just gonna take a trip down there to see what will happen. Thanks for the info guys.

Simply the application for a 30 days extension from your home country Embassy i.e US Embassy...with their Letter requesting Thai Immigration CONSIDER your request...1,900 Thai baht fee.
No guarantee Thai Immigration will grant it. Its their decision.
Immigration could decide to deny it and give you 7 days to depart Thailand.
Be prepared to discuss why you are requesting the extension.

You can also react if you have another passport,
US/UK/ Australian citizens are normally treated the same as Europeans or Russian for example
