Just applied for my second Covid extension at Chaengwattana.

I cancelled my student visa applied for my first covid extension on January 6th and closed the loop on the 20th. That extension expires on March 7th. So as I had less than 45 days left decided to get another extension before the 29th of January. 

Just required the TM7, photocopies and the additional forms about overstay etc, plus the covid form. TM30 was handed straight back to me.

Funny thing is I got an under consideration stamp and am meant to return on March 8th, not the usual 2 weeks.

Looks promising. My first extension expires end of Feb, but I went to apply for a second one at Phuket anyway.

After applying, the office called me to ask why I had applied early (...) and they hinted that I was going to lose days. It really depends on the office.

IF they are for the same reason they shouldn't be starting it on the date you apply but adding the extension to the date your current extension expires (no matter what the U/C date says to come back on).

, hope this is what will be applied. Today I went to CW to have 2nd extension. 1st one expire March 2nd. Got stamp under consideration and to go back Feb 11. I hope they give 60days after March 2nd, not Feb 11.

! That's also what I said to the office clerk on the phone.

I told him not to worry about it, and to forward my application to the actual immigration officer for processing. His concern was appreciated, but I found it strange that he wasn't aware of the COVID-19 extensions order expiring on Jan 29. Or maybe he knew more than us?

He suggested to withdraw my application and for me to come back in Feb... no thanks! 😅

Well done (y) that is the way to maximize the time you can get out of them, especially with the police order expiring on Friday and nothing being announced as far as the program being extended or not.

other than the wacky under consideration date (one day after your current stamp expires) looks good. They should add the 60 days to the stamp you have expiring on the 7th :)
