Anyone recently do  SETV in Ho Chi Minh? 

Times to submit and pick up visa. It says 2 working days, so submit Monday pickup Wednesday?

Looks like they need proof of transport. Says air or bus. I would assume any cheap bus ticket to border would work?

That consulate is fine to use for a tourist visa IF you meet the requirements.

a cheap bus ticket to another country will work for proof of onward travel <- NOTE I said another country ;) meaning a ticket from Bangkok to Nong Khai thailand will NOT work, you need something like Bangkok to Siem Reap.

Also realize they ONLY take US dollars at the thai consulate for the visa fee

Also, not much more on cost. Thai and Vietnam visas a bit more, but the rest is cheaper including flights.

Yes, I saw that. Thanks Tod, as always, for your quick and up to date responses. Just trying to change up my Visa history with land Vientiane entries. Flight through Vietnam looks nice. Been awhile since I was there.

It is two working days, meaning application working day 1 in the morning, pick up next working day. Proof of onward travel must have destination outside Thailand, not to a place inside Thailand close to a border.
