What Are the Financial Requirements for Non-O (Marriage) Visa Extension in Thailand?

Good evening everyone,

I would like to inquire about the yearly extension of Non-O (marriage) visa.

One of the requirements for the application is financial certification, either (1) 400K THB in the bank or (2) monthly income of 40K.

For (2), the one website says we need to provide "a letter of certification from a Thai bank supported by bank statements showing your income/pension being transferred to the bank account every month for at least 12 months."

Can anyone confirm if the above statement is correct? I thought that we can simply obtain the letter certifying our income from the organization/company we work for and submit it? Do we really need to show the income evidence for the past 12 months or more? What will happen if we work in the organization/company for less than a year by the time of extension application?

There are different ways to show you have the finances.

If you work inside Thailand, the last 3 months of tax and sso payments from you and the Thai staff needed for the Work Permit.

Or if your income is from abroad:

the income affidavit from your Embassy, OR if your embassy does not provide: at least 12 months with a monthly deposit of minimum 40,000 Thb into your Thai bank account OR

a at least 2 months a minumum of 400.000 Thb into your Thai bank account prior application date.

If you use the Thai bank, you need letters from the Thai bank to confirm the account and deposits,

does the 12 months of 40,000 from abroad need to be with the same bank? I have 10 with 1 bank and 2 with another, all from abroad.

should work but you'd need bank letters and updated bank books from BOTH banks.

Thank you very much for your reply. "The last 3 months of tax and SSO payments from you." This means I simply can submit the copy of salary slip (which shows the evidence of tax and SSO payment) to the immigration office when applying for extension?
