I experimented it directly or indirectly: tourist visa and non-b teacher visa, before and after september.
They ask much more papers.
And about the non-o (that I'm preparing) it seems now they ask 200 000 bath ? But I hear it on a Facebook group so I need confirmation about that. Because if I go out I loose my actual 1 year visa, so if you have fresh new informations from the previous months and it's still without proof needed (for a 1st application), I'm very interested.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Ana Guillemin raised concerns about the increasing paperwork for tourist and non-B teacher visas in Thailand, particularly for the non-O visa. She heard that a minimum of 200,000 baht might be necessary for this visa and sought confirmation. Comments provided useful insights about the non-O visa based on marriage, indicating that female foreigners marrying Thai nationals typically do not need to provide proof of funds for a one-year multi-entry visa. Detailed application requirements for the non-O visa based on marriage were shared, including the necessary documents and fees.

Just so you're clear, to get a 90 day single entry OR a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai at the consulate in Savannakhet you need the following;
-the original rose bordered marriage certificate
copies of:
-front&back of the rose bordered marriage certificate
-front&back of your thai husband's i/d card
-thai husband's house book listing
-data page of your passport
-lao visa & entry stamp
you also need 2 passport sized photos,a filled out application along with 2000baht for a 90 day single entry OR 5000baht for a year-long, multi-entry.
Your husband signs the things with his name on them, you sign the things with yours <- meaning you BOTH sign the marriage certificate copies ;)

That's a very good new so then no need to wait to collect the funds anymore ๐ฏ
; if you as a foreign female are marrying a thai national you would only need to get a 90 day single entry Non-O visa.
You can get a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai inside the country without showing any proof of funds at the immigration office.
Foreign women who marry thai men do not show proof of funds, it's only foreign guys who marry thai women to need to show the proof of funds when getting yearly extensions.
okay, no matter what you might have heard or read or been told a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai national does NOT require any proof of funds at the thai consulates in Savannakhet Lao OR HCMC Vietnam
