Please advice me where to go for my Next tourist visa run?
I already went two times to Savankhet( Thai consulates), Laos and also two times to Vientiane (Thai Consulates), Laos. Now i need another one.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on where to go for their next tourist visa run in Thailand after visiting Savannakhet and Vientiane multiple times. Community members suggest various options including going to Penang, Perth, and even other Thai consulates outside of Laos. Recommendations include looking into consulates in countries like Vietnam or Malaysia, and reminders to ensure proper documentation and proof of funds for the visa application.
, has enough suggestions to get an idea they can go TO about any thai consulate other than Savannakhet or Vientiane.

Go to Penang get a fresh 60, no visa needed to enter.

If you have some time and money to spend go to Perth. Excellent Visa service and no waiting in th Consulate (I was the only one there lol) when you send your application at least a week ahead by email. It's only 7 hrs flight and actually a pretty cool place to visit and spend some time ( I could easily fill a week there) 😎😎😎
, you don't need to slog all the way to Australia to get a 6 month METV without being a resident of the country you're applying in.
You can get them from the thai consulate in KL Malaysia IF you meet the requirements. 6 months of bank statements with a balance of about 7600USD in it, and multiple confirmed flights or trips in and out of thailand during the 6 month period.

Did you pull a METV? As a non Australian?

Any thai consulate that is NOT Vientiane or Savannakhet would be an option. Pick one, check the requirements from their website, meet them and you should be fine.

Bangkok Air will have non-stop flights CNX-HAN starting end of March. The Hanoi Thai Consulate is a reasonable place to get visas (this experience was a number of years ago).

Don't gorget to get a Vietnam Visa as well. You cannot board your flight without.

How long would a metv last you here ..? And how much are they ?
Paul *******
Yeah I see what your saying now.. thinks has changed and it was ages ago when I last did different types of visas.
Paul *******
No one year multi entry visas then . Mind you, 9 months is long enough for me
Squid ****
the visa expires 6 months from your first entry, so no = 9 months total on that visa
Paul *******
So after 9 months go again then .. gives you a year then
So that's the same as a double entry visa then .. I thought a multi would allow more than just 2 border bounces
Squid ****
You can essentially stay here as long as you want - just need mix it up and actually go on exile occasionally - money is the solution -follow all rules on entry - have cash, have hotel, have exit flight - V
Squid ****
correct, reenter just before last day of visa = nearly 9 months with 2 border bounces and 3 extensions at immigration
Those SETVs from a Thai consulate don't count as land entries in terms of getting a visa exempt entry, so depending on your nationality, you could do two border crossings this calendar year

I know sir. I got two SETV visa from thai consulates in Savanakhet, Laos and two SETV from Thai consulates in Vientiane , Laos :)
. You do NOT get Any visa at a Border, you can ONLY get Visa at Thai embassy/Consulates in Other countries. Don't get Confused with Visa Exempt Stamps..!
Squid ****
Those don't count as land entries.

Are you talking about visa at the border? The rule is, two land crossings in a calendar year. Not two per location.
Robert *******
You can not get a tourist visa at the border 😉
