Hi, does anyone know if the Mae Sot-Myawaddy border crossing is open? It is the closest one to where I live for a border run.

The Mae Sot/Myawaddy border crossing DID indeed open a while back for foreigners to bounce out and back at for 500 baht,

There is no negative covid test, or proof of vax required, nor do you need a visa to burma to use it.

Just show up, stamp out of thailand, pay the burmese side 500baht stamp in and out of burma and come right back.

thanks Tod, I have been taking notice of what has been happening in the area. I did read about three weeks ago that the border crossing was closed for a short time because of the fighting. Was just trying to get confirmation that it was definitely open or not.
