TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the typical response time for a Non-O visa application submitted via email to the Royal Thai Embassy, expressing concern over the lack of confirmation. Subsequent comments provided updates, noting that the Thai Consulate had received all necessary paperwork, but processing delays were common due to a high volume of applications.

Thought I updating the Situation, I have rang the Thai-Consulate (In Hull) On behalf of my husband, They've receive all the paperwork, now just wait for them to forward it to Thai Embassy to make decision.
* They said they usually reply within a day to say they have receive paperwork but this they got lots if Application to go through so it take them a long time to reply๐

What thai consulate did he apply at?
If he sent his application in by post he should call and see if it's being processed or if there are any problems.

Yui Tipa Smith The last time I did this I think it took several days to get a reply, and I emailed them again to make sure they had received the documents and they were all in order. It may be that they wait until they get confirmation from Thai embassy London before contacting you again.

Jordan Harris The procedure at Hull UK now, is to send copies of all documents by email to Hull. They then forward to Thai Embassy London who will reply yea or nay, then and only then you travel to the consulate at hull with your passport and original documents and they will stamp the visa into your passport.
From what I understand is, if Thai- Consulate say yes they'll forward his visa to Hull for my other half to pick it up, but I thought it a bit weird for them not to get back in touch to say they've receive the Application.
