Hi! I little question about onward flight... If my itinerary is: Home -> Chiang Mai -(bus)-> Lao -> Cambodia -> Home (flight from Phnom Pehn), and I have booked a *real* flight Phnom Pehn to my home country about 25 days after arrive in Thailand, is it enough as a proof of onward flight?

I mean, I'll arrive in Thailand with a visa exemption, and I haven't a flight out of Thailand, but I do have a return flight to my home country. Is it enough, or do I need to book a cheap flight out of Thailand?

The problem you have will not be with the passport control people here but with the airline you're flying here on. They will want proof of onward travel in 30 days if you're comin' in visa exempt.

Tnx Tod. We'll flying with Cathay, with stopover in HK. Never had asked me for an onward flight on my home country when traveling to Thai with other companies (Qatar and Thai Airways)

BTW, both go and return with the same company.

Anyway, we'll do the online check in, so I think that is no problem: if they ask for an onward travel we can book one cheap Air Asia and then do again the check in...

In 9 years I've never had a flight booked out of Thailand when coming in. My flights 'to' Thailand are always the return leg of my journey.
